A collective work of art embellishes Résidence Saint-Eugène

The members of the painting workshop at Résidence Saint-Eugène recently celebrated the culmination of an ambitious project - to paint a collective fresco on the protective cover of the in-house piano. "Our goal was to combine our creativity and to transform this simple black cover into a piece of art that would build a bridge between the visual arts and music", explains Marie Cloutier, a member of the collective. Guided by teacher Liliane Roy on the technical and artistic aspects of the project, the tenants met this challenge beautifully. "I applauded the initiative right from the start", comments Jean Salvador, director of the residence. "Projects like this allow our tenants to express themselves and to influence their environment, which is great."
