Infection prevention is a shared responsibility

The health of our residents and employees is our priority. Since the start of the pandemic of COVID-19, we have rigorously followed the guidelines issued by the Direction régionale de la santé publique and the Ministère de la Santé. We count on our residents, their family and friends to abide by them.

The following measures apply for all residences with zero diagnosed cases of COVID-19. To protect them and our employees, it is important to maintain our good habits.

Masks

As of May 14, 2022, masks are no longer mandatory for our residents, visitors and employees. It is recommended to wear a medical mask in the following situations:

  • when it is difficult to keep a distance from others;
  • during gatherings;
  • if you have a respiratory disease or are immunocompromised;
  • if you are in the presence of vulnerable or immunocompromised people.

Wearing a mask has become a personal choice. We encourage all residents and visitors to respect those who wish to continue to use this method of protection against COVID-19 and other respiratory diseases.

Basic hygiene measures to adopt by all

  • Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer (at least 60%) if soap and water are not available.
  • When coughing or sneezing:
    • Cover your mouth and nose with your arm to avoid spreading germs.
    • Dispose quickly of any tissues you have used and wash your hands afterwards.
    • Wear a mask as prescribed by Health authorities.
